oh, for the life of a sailor in gold-rush san francisco! those hard-luck men and boys were lucky enough to witness the birth of a brand new wild west verb up close and personally: shanghai!

#6: where’s the food?
so that’s what san francisco is missing — good street food! we’ve got some of the greatest restaurants in the world, but for a cheap, greasy meal on the sidewalk, there’s a serious void to be filled.
