Richard,

You are a story-teller extrodinaire. Your podcasts have changed my life and asking us to pick only three is outrageously unfair.

There have been at least a dozen that I have listened to twice and others multiple times but I think my all-time favorite would have to be the story of Lefty O’Doul.

Richard, you are the best.

i looked down the list and realized perhaps i could list three i did not hold as favorites!

Why couldn’t it be at least five? Or ten? Or twenty?

There are so many really great episodes in your podcast, it was really hard to chose.

Next to the three I have already chosen I certainly would also vote for the following:

1) The wave organ
2) Emperor Norton
3) SF Shanghai
4) Straight razor morning
5) Golden fire hydrant
6) Steam beer

I had a hard time choosing a third one because it would leave out others which were great. But I chose “Carville”, “Lola Montez” and “Diamond Hoax”. Wish I could pick more…!! So many fantastic stories.
