My pleasure, and thanks so much for your comment! I'm not surprised to hear that this book was the closest to your heart... your genuine enjoyment of the subject shines through on every page.

I truly wish that a rush of people to the bookstores would stimulate interest in that new edition, but I suspect the publishing world doesn't work that way.

Be that as it may, oh readers of Sparkletack, pop into your nearest used bookstore and look it up!

Your review of "Treasure Island" warmed my heart. It's not the only book I've written -- nor, perhaps, even the best -- but definitely my favorite project. I've tried several times to interest a publisher in bringing out a new edition, including some outstanding color photographs that were not available in the early editions -- but, thne concensus was that no further market exists.
Thank you for your appreciative words!
