I liked very much your description of the Treasure Island Fair of 1939 and '40 (whatever you call that Fair.) I listened at the Museum at the Presidio. I only listened to the Fair part- part I- because it took 45 minutes. So I missed the Navy part. Can I listen from here?
Anyway, your presentation really made me see why that fair is such a big memory for those lucky enough to have been there, and remains THE fair for them.
