I’ve heard of Glenn Curtiss. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know Howard Hughes.

Why have I never heard of Lincoln Beachey?

This kind of daring madness, this Chicago skyscraper barnstorming bravery is something to take home with you.

To paraphrase Satchmo, “This horn is all I do, man. It’s my life.”

I have to learn more about this guy.

If you haven’t yet, take a look at this page of Lincoln’s various aircraft. Absolutely amazing … those early aeronauts were incredibly brave … and completely nuts.
